Summer moments: Beautiful Crete #2

In case you've missed it I almost just got home from a wonderful vacation in Crete - and I really want to share some of the wonderful moments I had with you. I hope you want to and have the patience to read along. I've got a ton of pictures and I already did one post (you can read it here if you want). I'm going to split the posts up, so they wont get too long (most will probably be pictures, but anyway...) and I'm planning to write about other things as well along the way. This means you're going to read about my Crete adventures for a while - I hope that's okay.

We stayed in a small village just outside the larger town Rethymnon and we spent some time there. I guess you can call it a "big city". At least there's a lot of trafic, a lot(!) of shops directed at tourists and taverns and frozen yoghurt (which for me is part of a definition of a truly big city - I'm quite sure you can't get that here in Aarhus, right?!). Here's a few pictures of Rethymnon - I really liked this city. It had just enough city vibes to it, but without the beggars and people who would trick you to buy things (or even trick you to steal from you - luckily we didn't meet any of those).

Har du været nogle spændende steder denne sommer?
Did you go anywhere this summer?
